Trey Parker Once Said…

Randolph Severn “Trey” Parker III was born on October 19, 1969. Trey is an American actor, voice actor, animator, writer, producer, director, and composer. Best known as co-creator of South Park with Matt Stone.

People have a lot of different beliefs, and at the end of the day, we all have deeply held beliefs that probably don’t make sense to anyone else. – Trey Parker

To force ones beliefs on another is a travesty. I feel that we should be given the choice to believe what we want to believe and not have to follow the first thing that comes our way. This is part of why I consider myself a spiritual person rather than religious. I don’t feel any one religion is all right or all wrong, they all have their points and all have their faults. That is part of life, the balance and diversity. Arguing with someone else about what you believe in often ends up with no one really happy. Both parties will stand their ground on what they believe and depending on knowledge of their own belief will depend on who ‘wins’ the argument.

The basis of all reasoning is the mind’s awareness of itself. What we think, the external objects we perceive, are all like actors that come on and off stage. But our consciousness, the stage itself, is always present to us. – Trey Parker

People perceive things in different ways depending on how one learned as they grow. You can change ones perception depending on learning and experiences and the more learning and experiences you have the better your reasoning will be when it comes to life and all its little facets. This is what helps us deal with things as they come our way, we grab from our past and it’s a combination of things put together and sometimes learning on the spot which helps us get through tough spots in life.

I’ve learned that all a person has in life is family and friends. If you lose those, you have nothing, so friends are to be treasured more than anything else in the world. – Trey Parker

I do treasure my friends. There are some I’ve had for many years and some I’m still getting to know and once in awhile no matter how much you think you know someone, sometimes an old friend can surprise you with something new. True friends are the people that are in it with you at your worst and help pull you through to get to the other side. They are also there for the good times but I think people often think friends are only the ones there in good times but it’s the real ones that will be there with you through the dark shit.
