Shemar Franklin Moore was born April 20, 1970. Shemar is an actor and former fashion model. For me I remember him most for his role on Criminal Minds as SSA Derek Morgan. Shemar shares my birthday and is 3 years older than me and I’m a huge fan of Criminal Minds which is partially why I started doing the daily quotes. The other thing I have in common with Shemar is being a Moore.
I picked him for today because I always loved the relationship which I’m sure the writers had a bit to do with but I’m sure it was also the chemistry between Penelope Garcia and Derek. Shemar’s quote talks about giving a woman her place because we provide the foundation. A woman makes a house a home and we create that environment with what we do around the house. We enjoy the freedom of being able to have some control in our environment so we feel we’re seen.
Andrew Clement Serkis born 20 April 1964. Andy is an English actor and film director. He to me at least is best known for the voice of Gollum in the Lord of the Rings movies and anyone that knows me knows I’m a huge Lord of the Rings Tolkien fan.
Andy Serkis and I share the same birthday except Andy is 9 years older. Andy’s quote is encouragement to do well in life to give it your all whenever you can however because life is short.
George Hosato Takei was born Hosato Takei on April 20, 1937. is an American actor, author, and activist. Most people know George for his role in Star Trek as Hikaru Sulu. George and I share the same birthday but today he’s 83 years old.
I picked this quote because it speaks about having equality for all and having good morals and faith. Faith has nothing to do with race, sexual orientation or any other thing that people try to change in law. There are laws that shouldn’t exist and some in my life and his life have changed. Homosexuals can legally get married and that was something that has changed in the span of my life. We need to just be morally good and stop judging each other about who you love, what religion you are, your race or whatever makes you different.
