Greta Garbo Once Said…

Greta Garbo born Greta Lovisa Gustafsson on September 18, 1905 and died on April 15, 1990. Greta was a Swedish-American actress.

There are many things in your heart you can never tell to another person. They are you, your private joys and sorrows, and you can never tell them. You cheapen yourself, the inside of yourself, when you tell them. – Greta Garbo

I think that she probably probably showed the world what she thought that they wanted to see from her and so the part she felt was more of her she had to keep to herself because it went against what society wants or what your parents want or what school or the church want. I believe in showing people who you are but I also get feeling that if you show who you really are and you don’t get a good reaction to who you are how it can make you feel cheap or that it’s not right.

I never said I wanted to be ‘left alone.’ There is a world of difference between the two. – Greta Garbo

I have felt at times wanting to be left alone, not ‘alone’ but not bothered, not having to go through something tough, not feeling, just want it all to stop. I think everyone feels that way from time to time in their lives that you just want a break from your feelings. I have felt that more times than I’d like to admit and yet somehow I pushed through.
