Lita Rossana Ford was born on September 19, 1958. Lita is an English-born American heavy metal guitarist, vocalist and songwriter.

I know when I was younger and I thought I knew a lot and probably acted like I knew everything. It is when you realize there is always more to learn that I feel you start growing in the right direction. One can always learn more and grow more as a person and those who say they can’t are stuck in the stone ages.

For as much as one does things for themselves it never hurts to have words of encouragement from others that you look up to, also those that follow you. A little encouragement is often all one needs to help give that little nudge to carry on. We all get stuck sometimes and some get stuck for awhile and some push on and get better with time.

I understand what Lita is saying, I have heard from friends or others at times that I have inspired them and one does get a sense of encouragement that is different from other forms because to inspire means that you have encouraged someone else to do something that you have done. I have been inspired by many writers and artists in my life and encouraged by a few and hope to pass that along to future generations.

Lita Ford’s career started when she was lead guitarist for the Runaways with Joan Jett and Cheri Currie. In the 80’s she started her solo career and while she was away for awhile Lita has returned to making music and playing rock concerts.
