Garth Brooks Once Said…

Troyal Garth Brooks was born on February 7, 1962. Garth is a country singer and songwriter which I had the privilege of seeing live in Central Park in New York City. It was an amazing concert that I will never forget. Garth was fantastic and it was awesome that Billy Joel joined him during the concert.

Happiness isn’t getting what you want, it’s wanting what you got. – Garth Brooks

I think a lot of people forget this in their life or overlook it at times. People have a hard time staying together in relationships and making it work over time and we tend to rush too fast at times and other times people wait too long and almost until it’s too late. Then there are those that get second chances and are grateful for the opportunity. Relationships are work and not just by one person it’s two people that need to make an effort not to just drive the other one nuts but to show them that this is what I want and I’m happy.

There’s a difference between what’s on the page in a history book and feeling that page have curves and valleys. – Garth Brooks

I think what he’s talking about is people who have been part of history and lived it, been in an airplane, been to a concert, worked, got fired, got promoted, lived. There really is a difference when looking at ones life and reading about history. If your book seems dull only you can do something about that to change it. Learning is the key, trying and failing and just doing things gains you experience so you know what life feels like.

You can’t succeed if you don’t know what losing is. – Garth Brooks

It’s the equal and opposite thing again. For every gain there is a loss, you can’t know success without having lost. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Newton definitely knew what he was talking about and it’s a lesson that is very important. What goes up, must come down and the balance of the world, universe and everything else depends on it. For all the good there has to be bad. It is just the way that life is. People need diversity and people generally live better with it because it keeps things the way they should be.

Shallow – Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood

Aside from Lady Gaga singing at Joe Biden‘s Presidential inauguration so did Garth Brooks. No, this isn’t Lady Gaga with Bradley Cooper, it’s Garth Brooks and his wife Trisha Yearwood covering the hit song from A Star is Born. Nice job!
