Robert Anthony Plant born August 20, 1948. Robert is an English singer, songwriter and musician best known as lead for the iconic classic rock band Led Zeppelin.

I don’t know if it’s power either but I know that when I listen to music and really am into listening to it or if I’m seeing a band perform in concert I feel as if I were transported somewhere else for awhile. But I also often take pictures at the concerts so it’s like a dual hypnotism that occurs from the music and from what I’m doing. It gives you a feeling of transcendence.
One of his songs from his solo work that I have always loved and that I wanted to include in this post.

I suppose what Robert really meant was being in the spotlight because their music is still popular amongst many generations of people. That’s the beauty of the music industry is once you get in and have a library of music it’s hard to make you disappear. Especially if you have any kind of following there are usually gains and more gains as years pass. It doesn’t matter if you only played for a decade like the Beatles or 12 years like Led Zeppelin, the more popular and more you experiment with sound or stand out the more you’ll be noticed and heard.

I believe there is much creativity on both sides in all forms of art from music to painting to writing and photography. But everyone has their opinion of what they are into but I think it’s a lovely compliment towards women that Robert said regarding being inspired by us. People are inspired by many things in their lifetime, some of it is tragedy and some of it is love and some just comes out of left field. One just needs to put themselves out there with their work to show what you’re made of.

The iconic lyrics of Stairway to Heaven are very bittersweet but also very wise. It’s a song about life and a song about death. I think there are is more than two paths in life, I think life leads you on several paths and there is always time to change the path your on. I think many people don’t think that they can change themselves or want to change themselves, but the truth is we all change and those that say they won’t are just stubborn. Life changes everyone, trauma changes everyone, no one remains the same. The only constant thing in life is change.
I can’t say it was Led Zeppelin that got me interested in J.R.R. Tolkien or Lord or the Rings but I was glad to find out members of LZ were also Lotr fans.
