Charles Lutwidge Dodgson aka Lewis Carroll (pen name) was born on January 27, 1832 and died on January 14, 1898. Lewis was an English writer of children’s fiction, most notably for Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and its sequel Through the Looking-Glass.
This is something that I do believe in because I also believe in what goes around comes around so if you do good for others, it will come back to you. The more people doing good the more chance of it coming to you.. at least that’s how I was raised. To be kind and helpful and support your friends and family when they ask and when they don’t ask for it. It is usually when one doesn’t ask for help that they need help the most. Some people are stubborn though and think they’re the only ones that can do something but maybe they should get out of the mindset that there is only one way to do things. It would allow for additional possibilities in life and making it so the other person feels useful instead of useless.
More wise words from him that speak volumes. Don’t be afraid to take chances in life and have a relationship with someone that may not be someone your other friends would like. You never know what that friendship will be like. Life is too short to have regrets and while it is smart to think about what to do in situations more often than not we do take a long time to decide things and also regretting it later that we didn’t decide to do it sooner. I’m not by any means pushing any kind of agenda to rush into any decision. I’ve made a lot of hasty decisions which I also regret. I would rather have regret from decisions that took me longer and less from ones I wish I hadn’t made that I made in haste.
I like having a creative mind for art, writing and photography. It allows me to see things differently and I like different which is probably why I always like the tale of Alice in Wonderland because it is a creative world that tickles my inner child and imagination. I have an idea to do my own Wonderland drawing sometime inspired by Carroll’s characters and brought to life by me! That is one of the things I do plan on doing is more art during this year. I’m not saying that I neglected art because this is as you well know a form of art and I’ve even toughed my way through it even with being ill with the coronavirus.
