We can’t be brave without fear. – Muhammad Ali

Fear is part of motivation but there is a point where someone can push the limits to your fear and it becomes abuse. We do learn how to be brave from fear but there are also other factors that go along with that, self esteem and ones inner drive which can come from how we’re raised or taught but it can also come from ones self. When we don’t learn something from someone else and how to react or act towards a thing then it is something inside that one decides.

If my mind can conceive it and my heart can believe it then I can achieve it. – Muhammad Ali

Muhammad Ali had a beautiful personality and a way with words that was empowering and engaging. He’s talking about following ones dreams or what the mind conceives and what to do with those conceptions. First you take it to heart and you love it and you work at making it happen. The best kind of motivation is self motivation. I’m not saying that it doesn’t help to have support, sure it does and it is very welcomed but you are the one that needs to be your biggest cheerleader.

It’s the repetition of affirmations that leads to belief. And once that belief becomes a deep conviction, things begin to happen. – Muhammad Ali

That is one way to help you believe in something is to repeat it. The mind takes it and hears it repeatedly and over time if you work at what is said and repeat it enough it becomes more than just routine. When you believe in yourself and what you can do that is what Muhammad Ali is saying is your conviction will shine through. Part of having a dream and doing it takes practice and repetitiveness and the more you do something the more familiar and the easier it gets and helps build your expertise.
