Never fight unless you know the odds are in your favor – Katheryn Winnick

Katheryn would know a thing or two about that since she has a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a 2nd in karate. As Lagertha she was one serious badass that I enjoyed watching. I tend not to physically fight and when I get into arguments I tend to try to pick my fights wisely.

I think every woman character, every female character, has her own arc. – Katheryn Winnick

Women often tend to make their presence known and are more often not viewed as wallflowers. Roles for women or characters in order to be remember-able have to have some kind of angle or story. There has to be a certain amount of chemistry between characters that are on screen together in order for it to be believable and it does come through in the final product often.

Pain shapes a woman into a warrior. – R.H. Sin

I don’t know if Katheryn said this ever, it’s marked as R.H. Sin or Reuben Holmes that’s a poet but it shows a picture of Lagertha aka Katheryn Winnick. I do believe that pain does shape us into who we are, all kinds of pain and it is a good thing that it’s recognized by men the amount of pain a woman goes through and I’m not just talking about having a baby but that’s something I don’t have personal experience in but I know from talking to Mother’s that it is something that you never forget. There is all kinds of pain in life that contributes to molding you. For me, I know the trauma I have been through has changed my life forever.
