Michelle Obama Once Said…

Don’t be afraid. Be focused. Be determined. Be hopeful. Be empowered. – Michelle Obama

A powerful message that should be read or listened to. At some point a parent, teacher or someone you look up to has possibly said these words to you. It may have been words of encouragement after a failure or just words of encouragement. We all need that from time to time in our life, sometimes it’ll come from someone else but it matters most if it comes from within.

Success isn’t about how much money you make. It’s about the difference you make in people’s lives. – Michelle Obama

Success isn’t necessarily about fame and it isn’t necessarily about money either. There are plenty of successful people that aren’t well known and when you think of success you don’t have to only think of getting famous. Being successful is much more than money and fame. True success is learning, knowing and growing and experiencing what life can give. Those teachers, writers, photographers, artists that you looked up to are just some successful people. A fulfilling life is one that you find your true happiness, in whatever it is. It’s not giving up on your dreams.

Friendships between women, as any woman will tell you, are built of a thousand small kindnesses…swapped back and forth and over again. – Michelle Obama

This is how I measure my friendships, at least my close knit friends. We are there for each other through good times and bad, to wipe each others tears, laugh until we cry and laugh at and with one another. You can go through periods without speaking but know that the other is in the others thoughts and when you do talk it’s like you never left one another. It’s small and big kindnesses that you give to one another to show one another just how much you love them and what they mean to you.
