Hugh Jackman Once Said…

Hugh Michael Jackman was born on October 12, 1968. Hugh is an Australian actor, singer, and producer. Probably best known as Wolverine but I have enjoyed him in other movies as well. I really enjoyed him in The Prestige with Christian Bale.

Look, my philosophy in life is expect nothing and everything is a bonus. – Hugh Jackman

I think as you grow up and don’t have things handed to you on a silver platter than you gain a better sense of responsibility. Especially when you learn at a young age to work to be able to gain your own money to be able to get what you want in life. First you get to appreciate what you have more when you bought it for yourself rather than having everything you never wanted always given to you. I think when someone grows up like that you don’t appreciate things that you have as much. I’m not saying everyone is this way but I’ve seen it more often than not.

Giving people a hand up, not a handout, is the way forward. – Hugh Jackman

I would rather have a helping hand than a hand out. But that’s the way I was taught was to help your family and help your friends when they need it and you gain better relationships with them. It makes you respect and responsibility. In my opinion you can’t buy your friends and if you have to then if you stop they go away but the real friends will do things for and with you and will last longer.

To me, the smell of fresh-made coffee is one of the greatest inventions. – Hugh Jackman

We all differ in the kinds of aromatics we enjoy. I think that some of it is from as we’re growing up we start to enjoy things that we enjoy drinking or eating… things that make us happy. Fresh brewed coffee always makes me happy, I love standing in the coffee aisle in the grocery store and smelling the coffee or walking into my favorite coffee shop. But I also enjoy the smell of cilantro, citrus, mint and many other things. Some of us find odd smells enjoyable too. My favorite odd smell is puppy breathe, what is your favorite unusual scent?
