Words have no power to impress the mind without the exquisite horror of their reality. Edgar Allan Poe

I’ve always loved Edgar Allan Poe and his words have always impressed me and his stories are classic. I remember being quite young and my grandmother had books in her front porch and contained in one of those was a tale from Edgar Allan Poe, that was the beginning and from then on I was hooked.

Beauty of whatever kind, in its supreme development, invariably excites the sensitive soul to tears. – Edgar Allan Poe

I have most definitely been moved to tears at times with beauty, sometimes with something I see something so beautiful. There are of course words written in a way that are very touching, depending on who they’re coming from and what they say. I am a sensitive soul but I really don’t like crying so I fight it more often than not but there are times I am moved to tears.

Nevermore. Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form from my door! Quoth the Raven Nevermore. – Edgar Allan Poe

One of my favorite poems from Poe was The Raven which was in that book at my grandmothers that started my love for Poe. Who’s your favorite scary writer? Poe? Stephen King? Dean Koontz?
