David Bowie Once Said… that Time may Change me but I Can’t Trace Time

David Robert Jones aka David Bowie was born on January 8, 1947, and died on January 10, 2016. David was an English singer-songwriter and actor.

I don’t know where I’m going from here, but I promise it won’t be boring. – David Bowie

There’s much speculation about where we go after we die and some think it’s a black void of nothingness. Some people believe in the afterlife and heaven… I’m more inclined to believe that our spirit does go on and that we even have the chance to return if we choose to. There have been many movies about it and one of my favorites is When Dreams May Come where you get to create your world. I’d like to be able to do that and I think that stems from being an artist. We see things in a different way, we often see more and we like to share that with the world.

As we get older, the questions come down to about two or three. How long? And what do I do with the time I’ve got left? – David Bowie

I find myself reflecting that more as I gain age… except I try not to think about how long I have left and just try to figure out what I want to do and how to do the things I want to do. You’ll find that you have less regrets if you do the things that you want to do in life, take those chances, try and learn new things.

David Bowie – Changes

One of Bowie’s classic songs, Changes has been one of my favorites.

If you feel safe in the area you’re working in, you’re not working in the right area. Always go a little further into the water than you feel you’re capable in. Go a little bit out of your depth. And when you don’t feel your feet are quite touching the bottom, you’re just about in the right place to do something exciting. – David Bowie

I try to push myself away from the safe places in my life. I don’t want to have this as is or get monotonous so I push my limits. That’s part of who I’ve always been. A try this person or do that, explore, learn and grow. And I believe that others should push themselves go do more and see possibilities in life.
