Judy Garland born Frances Ethel Gumm on June 10, 1922 and died on June 22, 1969. Judy was an American actress, singer, and dancer.

This was something Judy said many years ago but it surely resonates with many people. John Lennon said and sand to Give Peace a Chance and I’ve tried picking people who have had profound statements about being kinder to one another. To see each other as equals and to stop racism, sexism and not see our differences as bad but a diversity that makes us unique and special. Celebrate our diversity, don’t hate because of it.

Judy is widely known for her portrayal of Dorothy in the movie “The Wizard of Oz” and I believe that she was a kind soul that did believe in the rainbow and being kinder to each other and seeing the goodness in people. Believing that there’s goodness and also seeing that there is something more than just nothing when we die that there is a rainbow and maybe just maybe it’s there to guide or lead us to the next adventure of our lives.

I don’t think she was talking about acting but believing in yourself and being the best version you can of yourself. The side that you protect from all the bad in the world the world deserves to see and while I understand and have often kept that part of me hidden I know it resonates with my friends and people who know me best. It also comes through in my art, writing and pictures because I want you to see or read the good that I see. See the beauty in this world or read about how one can be different by not hiding the best part of you.
