Freddie Mercury’s birth name was Farrokh Bulsara. Freddie was born on September 5, 1946 and died on November 24, 1991. Freddie Mercury was a British singer, songwriter, record producer, and lead vocalist of the rock band Queen.

Freddie was definitely (at least later in life) not afraid to speak out. Perhaps he was talking about what was hidden for many years to some but I really don’t think that he was hiding much. He pushed the boundaries of so many things and was a true entertainer. And when he made music, when they (Queen) they did it very well. I’m forever a fan of Freddie. I believe that being natural and genuine did come through in their music.

I agree Freddie, Led Zeppelin is one of the greatest rock bands and one of my favorite and I agree with Robert being an original vocalist….however I would have to say that what you did during your career also was quite the display of vocal talent. You or they will never be forgotten and I hope that you and they both had the success you deserve.

I don’t know anyone who hasn’t thought this at least once in their life that if they had to do it over they’d do it a bit differently. We would all love to have the opportunity to change something we did or fix it knowing what we know now. I am not saying to not have regrets or we shouldn’t and I have learned some awful lessons from life and I have thought oh wouldn’t it be nice if I could never remember… but I do and it shapes me and whatever you went through drugs, alcohol, whatever it was made you who you were and that wasn’t a bad thing. Sure we’d love to have you around but we’ll be seeing you again some day. Peace be with you Freddie
This song has always been one of my favorite songs to sing along with and I’m not the only one there are millions of Queen fans that can’t help sing along with this way before and since Wayne’s World. Party On, Freddie
