Bob Dylan born Robert Allen Zimmerman on May 24, 1941. Bob is an American singer-songwriter, author, and visual artist.

This is a major reason I take pictures, draw and write is to inspire others. One might ask how can a picture inspire, it captures a moment or moments in time in history so one can look back on them or look at them for the first time and be inspired to take pictures themselves or go to that place or eat that thing. What we do whether it’s design clothing, build furniture, write books or draw can inspire others.

I think it’s very poetic Bob’s quote about how what destiny is and what I think he’s stating is that we control our own destiny and we do for the most part. We decide what to do on a daily basis, when to take and go to sleep, what to eat, to exercise or whatever it is that you do. We have many decisions in life and they shape our destiny. So your destiny is what you make of it.

I’m not entirely sure what he was trying to get at when he wrote that love is a sin… I suppose it depends on who you love or what you love but love in and of itself I don’t think is a sin. Perhaps he was just philosophically speaking and it would make sense if love was a sin than beauty would definitely be a crime. It’s a crime I think to not see the beauty in this world or experience it if one cannot see. Or would be a crime to not be able to hear music or birds sing or feel the softness of rabbit or chinchilla fur. There’s so much beauty in this world.
Thank you Bob Dylan for your music, words and inspiration!
