Hồ Chí Minh was born on May 19, 1890 and died on September 2, 1969. He was a Vietnamese revolutionary and politician that served as First Prime Minister and First President of the Democratic-Republic Vietnam.

This isn’t just something that American’s feel or have felt but Ho Chi Minh stated how precious independence and liberty is. It is the foundation of which the United States was built on and is a common thread we share with other places wanting their independence.

I admit I didn’t read into the background of what he was trying to say but I have a feeling he was talking about the people of Vietnam not just nature or the trees because trees can grow again depending on the soil and rains and if there are seeds. The storm I believe Ho Chi Minh was talking about was weathering the war and to show strength and stability to make it through the war alive so that they could have their independence.

It may surprise people that I chose this man that I knew little to nothing about for a quote but I find his quotes inspiring and meaningful and something that we want. I know when I write I try to write for everyone and have it understood by all and I try to open the readers eyes and mind and heart to speak to them on the base level. To make a change, to allow them to see what we should all see and feel and be like. Aspire to be part of the change for peace and independence and liberty.
