Salvador Dali Once Said…

Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí i Domènech, Marquis of Dalí de Púbol was born on May 11, 1904 and died on January 23, 1989. He was a Spanish Surrealist artist.

A true artist is not one who is inspired, but one who inspires others. – Salvador Dali

I’d like to think that I’m a true artist maybe my drawings don’t inspire but I have been told my photographs and writing has inspired before. I enjoy inspiring people and knowing that I do which is part of the reason I do my craft. Anyone that is an arts or craftsman or writer enjoys knowing that they reach an audience and that we inspire you to return to read and learn more or see more or you use something we made.

I am not strange. I am just not normal. – Salvador Dali

I don’t know if I’d agree to say I’m not strange but I am not normal. I think that maybe there’s no such thing as normal and it’s okay to be strange. I like being weird because it’s helps with the way I write and see things and create.

Mistakes are almost always of a sacred nature never try to correct them on the contrary rationalize them, understand them thoroughly after that, it will be possible for you to sublimate them. – Salvador Dali

We all makes mistakes and that is part of how we learn. We learn how to do things and properly from making a mistake and sometimes those mistakes end up being something extraordinary.

My Dali – Erica Moore, oil painting on cardboard.

This is “My Dali” which I painted in college and received an A. The teacher gave us cardboard with paint spatter on it and told us to create something from it. I asked him if I could do this and he asked if I thought I could. I definitely could and did.
