Sir James Matthew Barrie, 1st Baronet, aka J.M. Barrie was born on May 9, 1860 and died on June 19, 1937. J.M. Barrie was a Scottish novelist and playwright best known for Peter Pan and Neverland.

I do believe it is the secret to personal happiness is liking what you do. Life is too short to be miserable and you should like what you’re doing to make the time more enjoyable.

I’ve never been a fan of goodbye because goodbye does seem final. I tend to say bye for now. I am pretty sure that J.M Barrie was talking about dying with this quote. And I know death seems like goodbye and depending on your beliefs it can seem very final but for me I do believe in the afterlife or heaven if that’s what you want to call it. I believe there is more than what we live in our life and I do believe we’ll see our loved ones again, all of them even the furry or feathered or other kind of babies we have had.

I do believe that James was very humble and had plenty of lessons to help him see humility in life. We mustn’t dismiss life’s lessons in humility, it’s what makes us more understanding and caring. So be humble.

We have plenty of adventures in life or opportunities for adventure and we should take as many as we can because that’s how we learn but death isn’t the end of the adventure but the beginning of a new adventure.
