I don’t need anyone to rectify my existence. The most profound relationship we will ever have is the one with ourselves. – Shirley MacLaine

This is an important quote about life and about something many of us need to realize about our own lives. We seek friendships outwardly but the important and profound relationship we need is one with ourselves. If you’re self loathing than your existence will be that much harder. Having a solid relationship with ones self and knowing what you want in life and continuing to be kind to yourself.

Fear makes strangers of people who would be friends – Shirley MacLaine

I added this quote from Shirley about fear making strangers of people who would be friends. I’m not saying we shouldn’t fear or be fearful of people in fact there are so many people that have proven that I should be fearful. But we have to try to face our fears, be mindful and wary of people. Some people do not deserve to be our friends and should remain as such.
