Jack Nicholson Once Said…

John Joseph Nicholson was born April 22, 1937. Jack is an American actor and filmmaker whose career has spanned more than 60 years.

The minute you’re not learning I believe you’re dead. – Jack Nicholson

Jack Nicholson has had an expansive career as an actor with many movie greats in his portfolio. He’s always been one of my favorites to see in movies and he has been responsible for some of the lines he’s improvised in movies. I picked two quotes from Jack. The first being that the minute you’re not learning he believes one’s dead. I think in order to advance or succeed in life that you have to continue to learn. I don’t know if when you stop you’re dead but maybe in a sense you are.

I am who I am. Your approval isn’t needed. – Jack Nicholson

Jack tends to play characters that are outspoken, quick with wit or sharp with their tongue. I have at times felt sharp or witty and believed I am who I am your approval isn’t needed but I have fell short the past few years with things I’ve gone through. That’s what happens when you’re in an abusive relationship and they chip away at your being is you lose your sense of worth or self. I would love to get back to knowing who I am and believing I don’t have to fucking change for anyone.
