Georgia Totto O’Keeffe was born on November 15, 1887 and died on March 6, 1986. Georgia was an American artist.

I picked Georgia O’Keeffe because my artwork has been compared to hers and yes she did inspire me with her flowers. I’ve always loved her paintings. I agree with her quote about art and that it takes courage. Why might you ask that I agree? As an artist we are our own worst critics and we must be courageous in order to do our work and to show others our work and to get over ourselves in order to do so.

Georgia, what’s not to love when she releases her passion?
I meant to say earlier, that is a great cat in your photo.

As an artist I find especially when drawings flowers and I should share a bit more of my art. I found it easy to convey my passion with colors as I draw.

I adore painting. It is as close to a meditative state as my mind can deal with. However, I am total rubbish at it so I just keep putting words down on a page… One of my closest friends is an artist. Rita sculpts, draws, paints… She is also a certified acupuncturist. Every time she visits, she leaves boxes of needles behind. 😉

I love Georgia and she’s always inspired me as an artist and I consider my work often to be kind of a cross between Van Gogh and O’Keeffe because I like to draw flowers and my work has been compared to both artists.
As for my photo that’s Dexter and while he’s no longer with me he’s always always in my heart. So is my Luna. He was very much a character.
