Florence Nightingale Once Said…

Florence Nightingale was born 12 May 1820 and died on 13 August 1910. Florence was an English social reformer and statistician, and the founder of modern nursing.

Whenever I think of nurses and I’m sure it’s the same for my friends and family that are nurses the first person that comes to mind is Florence Nightingale. She paved the way to many great nurses.

I chose this quote because it’s important as a nurse but also important as an individual to observe. If we were to be more observant we would learn more about each other. Perhaps we would listen better and do better for one another. So thank you Florence, it is an important lesson in life that most take for granted.
