Anna Eleanor Roosevelt was born on October 11, 1884 and died on November 7, 1962. Eleanor was an American political figure, diplomat and activist. She served as the First Lady of the United States from March 4, 1933, to April 12, 1945, during her husband President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s four terms in office, making her the longest-serving First Lady of the United States.

This statement resonates deeply with me because I have lived through horror and I know the past horrors have given me courage and strength and I’m still trying to find that in the most recent horrors I survived.
I do this every day do the things I think I cannot and I need to be kinder to myself. We are our own worst enemy but we should learn to be our own friend.
