I chose her quote because it speaks volumes beyond many people’s comprehending. Many of us are guilty of judging the book by its cover without being given a chance. That’s why I try things, try again and try to get to know people and do things I never thought I’d do.

I also have been trying to appreciate my own uniqueness and beauty. That’s part of what being a good artist is and a good person.
