John Ernst Steinbeck Jr. born on February 27, 1902 and died on December 20, 1968. John was an American author that won the 1962 Nobel Prize in Literature.
He wrote another one of my favorite classic books in 1937, Of Mice and Men of which today’s quote came from. I loved reading this classic for the beauty and structure.
This quote talks about time and how it sometimes feels as if it has stopped and how it feels when you’re in that moment. I know I’ve felt this and when you’re dealing with things time can be cruel. It’s not polite, it doesn’t wait or give you a break. Time is very precious and we should treat it as such.
