Ansel Adams Once Said…

Ansel Easton Adams was born on February 20, 1902 and died April 22, 1984. Ansel was a landscape photographer and environmentalist known for his black-and-white images of the American West.

To photograph truthfully and effectively is to see beneath the surfaces and record the qualities of nature and humanity which live or are latent in all things

Not the standard quote for the day but I can say that I’ve always been inspired to photograph truthfully. I’ve been taking pictures since I was able to hold a camera and as I age I continue to hone my photography. The pictures I take are things I want to remember, things that catch my eye and things I want others to see which is why I share my work.

Before I moved to Ohio I had about 250 followers on Instagram and now I have over 1200 followers. So I must be doing something right.
