Susan B. Anthony Once Said…

I chose this quote for to help remind myself that we do have rights. We need to remember that and continue our path to equality.

Susan B. Anthony was born on February 15, 1820 and died on March 13, 1906. Susan was an American social reformer and women’s rights activist. In 1878, Anthony and Stanton arranged for Congress to be presented with an amendment giving women the right to vote. Introduced by Sen. Aaron A. Sargent (R-CA), it later became known colloquially as the Susan B. Anthony Amendment. It was ratified as the Nineteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution in 1920.

There never will be complete equality until women themselves help to make laws and elect lawmakers. – Susan B Anthony

Susan fought for our rights and for equality and we need not forget what she stood for. Women need to vote, you may feel you have no voice but we do and the more women that come forward the more we’ll be heard. That’s when change happens.
