On February 13, 1942 Peter Tork was born. He began studying piano at age 9 and went onto other instruments which likely led to being part of the folk scene and joining the Monkees in the mid 60’s playing keyboards and bass guitar.

I picked this quote because I want to see this in myself more. I am a domestic violence and sexual assault survivor. I have PTSD and I am surviving. In my mind that makes me a hero. Things that happen to you don’t have to crush you and you shouldn’t be ashamed. Wear them scars, show your colors and see that hero which lies within.
